Just a little fun.

So today we had a chance to work on our coffee table project!! I am soooo excited to share it with yall. It might be one of my favorites! Hope you like it :)

We found this super cool old window when we were in N. Georgia. Had no idea what we were going to do with it... we tossed around a couple of ideas and then finally came up with this...

we had some leftover wood from our staircase that we used as the posts...
and bought a few pieces of cedar to make the 'border'...

Then we found a use for the wood from the pallets that our lumber was
delivered on back when we were building...

painted it white to match the window...
then sanded it down a little bit to give it a little bit of an older look...

And here it is!!! Absolutely love it!!

P.S. We have more windows... would make a great Christmas present.
Let me know if you are interested :)

Just a fun little picture from my birthday celebration down in Seaside!

Check out the amazing cake that Matt's Aunt Ginger made for the family reunion!!
Awesome... and tasted delicious!!

We were so blessed to host a dinner for the Ellington family reunion at our house!
Good looking bunch.

Just had to share... found a temporary use for our old double wash tub.

decor in progress.

Over the last couple of weeks we have had a chance to catch up on some of the small projects and decorating the house a little more. Check it out...

We found these chairs on craigs list... they look pretty good here, but up close they were in pretty bad shape...

We painted them white... and recovered the cushions...

We were given this old metal table with wood frame... just needed a little tlc...

and here it is! (we are still working on the table...)

found this really neat chair at the Habitat for Humanity Restore. recovered the cushion and it looks awesome in our living room.

My mom found this antique china cabinet for us in GA.  (Forgot to take pic before I covered the glass to refinish)

Here it is all finished!
